Retire in North Carolina

Retire in North Carolina

We live the good life  here in North Carolina. We are healthier, more active, have access to more sports, art, music, theatre and great food.  Our topography stretches from the Atlantic up into the Blue Ridge mountains, full of beaches,  golf courses, riding trails, ski slopes, bike paths, camping sites, as well as the most luxurious bed and breakfasts Inns!  Take a trip to North Carolina and have a look for yourself - you'll never want to leave.    Here are just a few areas to consider.

Texas Pete Ribfest

There is so much to do - you'll have a hard time deciding!  In the Piedmont, visit beautiful Winston-Salem and and try some 'Cue at the Ninth Annual Texas Pete Twin City Ribfest. From June 6th through 9th in the downtown area. A good time NOT to be missed -  photos and details here.

Kiteboard Outer Banks

If you want to see an extreme sporting event, take a trip to the Outer Banks and watch the Triple S Invitational kiteboarding competition.  From June 1st through the 7th, leaving you plenty of time to visit the national wildlife refuge, do some beach-combing, get that fishing pole in the water and work on your tan.  Take a look!

Out in the mountains, you can check out some North Carolina talent at Art in the Park.  Blowing Rock is a sight in itself.  North Carolina has a long history of expert artisans - musicians, weavers, quilters, potters, artists in pen, oil, watercolor.  They make jewelry, take stunning photos and bring joy in many mediums.  All of North Carolina has so much to offer you.  Why not come for a visit and stay at one of our NCBBI Inns.  Our Innkeepers are experts on their area and can point you in the direction of fun, discovery and delight.  For detailed information, click here.  Give us a chance- you won't regret it!
