Music in North Carolina

Find delicious food and vendors selling everything from shirts, hats, jewelry and more.... but the best part is enjoying the music with family and friends.

Start in Morganton at the annual Red, White and Bluegrass Festival, running from  June 30 through the 4th of July.  This single-stage event has great artists, plus a special bluegrass camp for young musicians.  Take a look information on the festival   There will be fireworks, of course!

Move east to Greensboro for a month-long festival - June 23 - July 28th - The Eastern Music Festival    Classical, Jazz and Bluegrass, plus Fringe!  The EMF has it all.  Check it out at http://easternmusicfestival.org/  The festival site is at Guilford College and 12 other venues.  They are proud to present over 50 years of beautiful music.

On the coast, you can try the Wilmington Summer Concert series, running from early June through August 24th.  Listen to rock'n'roll, beach music, bluegrass and classical -  all from the comfort of your beach chairs.  Bring a picnic and some wine, sit back and revel in the diversity and beauty of North Carolina. Look at the schedule and pick a date to enjoy yourself at the City of Wilmington webpage.
